    7. DextaMartijn

May God bless you this growing season. The big bud looks like a awesome tractor to see maybe ome day I will see. Greetings from Alberta Canada

    8. Bri Rei

I just had a chance to catch up on some of your videos, why don't you take the loader off the magnum when used in the field?

    9. Nick Von Flue

That canam with the long bed is awesome

    10. Wesley Hjelmeland

Plash a little green paint on that red tractor and she'll run better!

    11. Judy Cook

Love, Love, Love following your adventures and your family. I have a question regarding KGup and the ads. I know it important for me to not bypass the videos and I try my best not to. Do you have any control over who advertises or how long the ad can be? This video had a 52+ minute ad attached and I can't imagine anyone watching ads that long.

    12. Colonial Roofing of North Carolina

Support wheels look great, was wonder why y'all installed it toward the front instead of toward the back were its more of a drager instead of pushing forward, just wondered of you thought it would roll better then being forward and pushing through the ground, just a thought

    13. Lewis Lindsey

Fly the flag or learn to bow your neck to China.

    15. oilburner389 thunder

How many acres a day can the big bud rigs plant?

    16. andy bowyer

Its obvious to me that you welded those wheels on the wrong way, you should of tried them the other way so they flexed with the direction of travel. A bit like a swing arm off of a dirt bike

    17. Jacob Weidinger

Those are by far my favorite cinematics yet. I come back every 3 to 5 days to rewatch this

      1. Jacob Weidinger

      Not treating those Peas?

      1. Robert Welker

No, they're being planted into new fields to them

    26. Cyanora Gaming

Why do you run a roller over the planted soil? Does that not cause compaction issues? Or is that not as big of an issue on your soil?

      1. Robert Welker

Its purpose is to mash down rocks so harvesting short crops doesn't damage the equipment

I just wanted to say that Flexi-coil was created in the city I live in. Saskatoon Saskatchewan. I know alot of people that worked there and still work there. Well CNHi now. I worked there many moons ago. My brotherinlaw is still a welder there. There were a lot of bad times at Flexi-Coil many years ago. They constantly laid off employees. Not sure how it is now.

      1. Mark K

@Robert Welker You got that right. I grew up in a small farming community and I spent a lot of time helping farmers when I was in my teens. I actually miss it. It was a very honest and very enjoyable job. Even back 35 years ago I was paid $10.00can per hour. That was good money back then. I picked many a rock. But this is still one of my favorite You Tube channels. I find myself watching this in the wee hours of the night. I just love how well all of you work together. I am sure there are times that you get on each others nerves but you hide it well. Thanks for sharing.

      2. Robert Welker

Ag industry is full of ups and downs. And the ups are much shorter then the downs. Was flown to the factory in the late 1900's

    39. Rob Johns

That is a sweet looking unit , glad to see out working . It is still to wet up here in MB yet.

      1. Robert Welker

We hardly ever face still wet. Hope you can go soon

    40. robert mcaninch

what would your Dad do with out his BOYS....

      1. Robert Welker

Not much.........and I mean not as much. The farm would need to be trimmed back greatly

    41. Davin Crook

Seems like a big upgrade down the road could be a 150ft boom sprayer. Fun that you can fly in those UTVs; their suspension is great offroads/on gravel roads.

    42. Preston McGhee

Might want to turn those leafs around.. with them pointing that way they aren’t going to float they are going to dig in and raise the boom up... bend needs to be towards the back of direction of travel!

    43. Mr Bojangles

Have you guys upgraded the hydraulics on the Buds to a bigger pump of some kind?

      1. Mr Bojangles

        @Robert Welker 👍

      2. Robert Welker

The 600 was upgraded to load sensing and more gals. The 525 is the same

    44. Paul Martin

Nick y’all need to tell y’all neighbors down the road in the curve to clean there place up . It’s lookin a little trashy. Lol j/S

      1. Robert Welker

Getting ready for future junkyard wars filming

    45. J. Collin Gallagher

How much weight can the boom handle out on the end?

      1. Robert Welker

Guess 25 lbs of constant weight.

    46. Canterbury Kiwi

Nice Video. I'm a small KGupr in New Zealand

    47. Curtis

Are you guys retiring the series 1 Nick?

      1. Curtis

@Robert Welker That's funny, I'm sure my kids will do the same to me some day

      2. Robert Welker

I was worried 🥵 That was my tractor and I thought they were going to do the same with me. But they placed me on 2 week quarrentee in the 525. That was close 😉

      3. Welker Farms

In a way yes, it will become the backup and pull other tractors out of mud machine. We will keep it field ready but likely won't see a lot of hrs.

    48. How to get 50k subs with no videos

Woah! 2020 is really bad though with quarentine...

      1. How to get 50k subs with no videos

        @Robert Welker True

      2. Robert Welker

But the people are starting to reject the heavy handed decree and the loss of our constitutional rights

    49. TrueBlue Farmer

Repainted Big Bud looks great in the field .

    50. Mikey D

“Dad is on the other side of the farm, like ten miles away .“ where I live that’s 2 townships away .

      1. Robert Welker

The wind blows so much that our farm is now stretched west to east 😁

    51. Flemming Nielsen

That 600/50 is a little over kill for that size of air seeder 🇨🇦

      1. Robert Welker

Probably because we're "dying" to see it in the field. 😊

    52. Kale Martin

I’m literally watching u roll yellow peas with a 7140 magnum and a mandako 50 foot roller and I’m in my 8950 magnum rolling yellow peas with a 45 foot mandako roller up here in Saskatchewan

    53. Marlin Stoltzfus

Great job on the restored Big Bud!!! I love it!!

    55. Mark Britton

    56. Morgan Adair

From the slow and snow to go go go. Time to make trip to local outlets and get plenty of cordless drill batteries, clamps, hose clamps, dorman bin parts, the list is just too long, will be a while before another expo trip. I would say batteries for all the equipment, maybe some backup cameras so one man can back up to all the augers and stuff .......... so many places to be and now its full on go... gonna have to hire a kid to wash equipment so you can maintain an see the potential breakdowns. An old service truck from texico to get grease and oils to the equipment plus fuel. Lazy day comes in late October

      1. Robert Welker

Looking for those less stress fall days after a productive summer 👍

    57. Dawid STE

      1. Robert Welker

On the few acres covered by 19 would be about 75%

    58. Mark Hoare

Those bud tractors are just impressive there's no other tractor manufacturer tractors are that cool. I don't believe there's any buds in new Zealand

      1. Robert Welker

A couple in Australia I believe

    59. MarvUSA

    60. Xayde Meyers

Awesome job guys 600 looks so nice 👍🏼

    61. thomas bee

interesting reporting for the farmers and their friends......

      1. Robert Welker

Yes it's been challenging to face low prices, increasing input costs. We also face the impact of insufficient rainfall. But each year brings the possibility of a friendly environment for farming. And we're still here so thank the Lord for the many Blessings we have. And our followers are a part of that Blessings. 👍

    62. Wapi Farang

So great nice video Welker family, so go for plant seed season 2020, and I think all go good, yeahhhh :)

      1. Robert Welker

I am always amazed how you guys restore and rebuild your equipment. I don't think many do anything on this magnitude. True field engineers.

      1. Robert Welker

        Thanks Chad👍

    67. Cmoney Roberson

Boy you are messed up a Ford with ram grill. Ram can not even compete with Ford

      2. Welker Farms

And it has a cummins in it... Kinda a mutt!

    68. Jack Johnson

Good job leg arms, although I'd advise mounting that the other way around unless you're planning on making Nick spray backwards.

    69. Robert Ironside

Ever think of taking one o the Peterbilt's and doing a job on it like you did the international and give it the Welker colours paintjob? Maybe do one of the old cars you have stored? That ground up fix up of the International was GOLD. Love all the in shop stuff. Only so much bean planting one can watch [although it is entertaining enough but not as entertaining as the shop stuff]. lol

      1. Robert Welker

We have more shop projects coming this fall and winter. That could be one of them

    70. Elijah Peters

First thing I did when I woke up was watch Welker Farms

      1. Robert Welker

    71. James Gilliland

Good luck this season and stay safe.

      1. Robert Welker

    72. Sidney Lutz

you guys are lucky. were still trying to get last years canola off the ground and fighting with rain. might be another week or two before we can think about seeding

      1. Robert Welker

We'd love to trade some of our dry wind for some of your rain . Hope you dry up and get work done soon

    73. JTN FisherMan

Holy cow.....a new battery for the old Deere, well there went profits off a 100 acres!!! Who I'm I kidding profits in farming are nonexistent right now.

      1. Robert Welker

        We're providing a service....non profit 😊

    74. CR Dorado

You guys are SO fortunate that you still have your Dad around to farm with you. Lost mine 5 years ago, miss him every day. Enjoy your videos, good luck this season.

      1. Robert Welker

Tough to experience the ending of a generation you grew up in. But you can pass on dad love to the next generation. I know they like me around.....6 months ago.i was the fall guy. Now I'm the spring guy 😊

    75. Ron Hoskinson

2 thumbs up..way up. Great the way. I love the flags

      1. Robert Welker

      1. Robert Welker

That would be a question for the editing team

    80. TheHardtruck1

umm so i was wondering where is the biggest of the big buds???

      1. Robert Welker

Was in a museum in the mid west USA.

    81. Pat CB

I thought farming was easy you just stick a seed in cover with dirt then harvest? 🤔

      1. Robert Welker

That's it!!!!!! I need to get a stick planter ☝️😆 thanks

    82. Dan Johnson

Everything is right with the world, Welkers are in the field, makes me feel like things are a little normal, at least for a while.

      1. Robert Welker

You're too kind. Thank you 👍

    83. peter kirwan

Best of luck for the season.could watch the big bud at work all day nothing like that in Ireland 🇮🇪

      2. Robert Welker

Not fully understanding your question. I know it would be very hard to give up this heritage and lifestyle. Cool that you are just west of us 👍

    90. Paul Copeland

I never realized how many "boom wheel direction experts" there were watching this channel!!

      1. Robert Welker

Funny 😁. Saying that I do appreciate the involvement they have with us. And sometimes they are correct. Thanks Paul

    91. StarRobin

      1. Robert Welker

I think he is too 👍

    92. Glenn Gaul

Seeing Nick with his hat on backwards is weird. It looks weird on all famers

      1. Glenn Gaul

@Robert Welker I wear my hat like that sometimes when I'm greasing

      2. Robert Welker

Sometimes we turn our necks too fast and the cap doesn't catch up.

    93. Jaco Landman

Could you next time let us hear the 600/50 running.

      1. Robert Welker

        525 coming also

    94. AC Grand

That ending bit just gave me the chills there is nothing better than an American farmer doing what they do best, keep us all alive....

      1. Robert Welker

    95. Peter Agriconguy

I like the scientifically accurate application of the correct rate of inoculant...….

      1. Robert Welker

        @Peter Loewen 😆👍

      2. Peter Loewen

Just as important though is the correctness of the angle of the head to ensure that the ocular focus is in stereo with the flex of the wrist...

      3. Robert Welker

It's all about the physics forces of the tendons in concert with muscle contraction working tandem with the occlular sensory stimulation. Simple as that.

    96. Vintage0007

Your leaf springs design looks similar to the "Pogo" temporary landing wheels on the U-2 Dragon lady aircraft.

    97. Scott Sorby

Can I ask what the stubble is that you're planting over and will it not interfere with the new crop? Sorry Im not a farmer so this is all very unchartered territory for me, but this Scottish city boy really loves watching your videos

      1. Scott Sorby

        Thanks Robert

      2. Robert Welker

We love the stubble. No it's not a problem for us in this dry area. We need the organic material for soil health.

    98. Thom Ream

Yep, it there's one thing I hate, it's draggin' boom... argh!

    99. aserta

The old water tank turned oil tank, you could make it a used oil catch-all for the farm. There's a lot of applications for used oil (obvs for stuff that burns), for example a small oil fired forge for working metal that you might need on the farm on the quick.

      1. Robert Welker

Thanks. We do collect the oil in a 250 gal shuttle

    100. Floyd Ferguson

      Great video!
